Join Us for the 2022 Youth Voice Summit!

Students from the Vermont Youth Lobby and the Vermont Student Anti-Racism Network have joined forces to host a statewide Youth Voice Summit on May 20th at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. The overarching theme will be youth voice and lowering the voting age, and sub-themes include racial, climate, and economic justice. Young people are invited to choose a subtopic and attend educational, empowering, and engaging projects and events throughout the day related to that theme. Please join the Vermont Youth Lobby on Wednesday, May 1st from 9am – 1:30pm as we rally for CLIMATE, JOBS, AND JUSTICE! Join the Race Against Racism!

The 2nd annual Race Against Racism is a youth-led community event held at Montpelier High School on September 23rd, 2018, beginning at 11:30. The event starts with a 5K run/walk through the city of Montpelier. Throughout the event, there will be local vendors vending food, including pizza from Woodbelly Pizza. After the race is completed, the performance portion of the event will begin, featuring activists, artists, musicians, and performances. Performers include Soundcheck and A2VT.
