This fall Youth Lobby is organizing a series of Youth Advocacy Trainings throughout the state of Vermont. These trainings are designed to help educate and empower youth in ways that they can get involved and be heard in their state government. Each training is centered around a different topic and is hosted in collaboration with Youth Lobby partner organizations throughout the state. Each event will begin at 5:30 with a “Meet and Greet” over pizza and wrap up with a short Youth Lobby logistical meeting.
We kick-off the series on October 5th with an introduction to how to Navigate OUR Statehouse, IN OUR Statehouse. Join us for pizza and introductions, then we walk over to the Statehouse to learn from a local VT lobbyist about how to navigate OUR Statehouse both in body and action.
All youth (and adults* with youth partners) are welcome!
