Energy Independent Vermont Statewide Activist Training

It’s still a couple a months away – but we wanted to give you a heads up. Keep Saturday April 16 open on your calendar.   We’ve reserved the Barre Civic Center to hold a day-long statewide training for Energy Independent Vermont activists from all over the state. It’s clear we have to take our efforts to the next level, and that means giving activists like you the tools you need to start bringing in more allies to this campaign and building support in your communities. Join us for a statewide activist training – Saturday, April 16 at the Barre Civic Center. RSVP today! We’re […]

We Need Your Help More Than Ever!

Invitation to Our Next Meeting Representatives from six of our coalition schools met this past Sunday in beautiful Bristol, VT to continue our planning of the Youth Rally for the Planet.  We want to thank Caroline and Hannah for hosting our meeting at Mount Abraham High School and for providing such sweet snacks to help power the work! We made some great progress on Sunday, including the development of a shared Mission Statement and a detailed list of things that needed to get done over the course of this week. Our next meeting is this Sunday, March 20th at Winooski High School from 3pm-6pm.   We would like each of our coalition schools to make their absolute best efforts to send a team of students and/or teachers to the event.  This may be the most important meeting we’ve had yet and we need all hands on deck! Not only do […]
