It’s still a couple a months away – but we wanted to give you a heads up. Keep Saturday April 16 open on your calendar.
We’ve reserved the Barre Civic Center to hold a day-long statewide training for Energy Independent Vermont activists from all over the state.
More and more Vermont decision makers have started to look at a carbon pollution tax – and the conversation is moving toward exactly how we price carbon in our state. At the same time, the fossil fuel industry and their defenders have turned up their misinformation campaign. It’s clear we have to take our efforts to the next level, and that means giving activists like you the tools you need to start bringing in more allies to this campaign and building support in your communities.
We’re hoping to bring hundreds of activists to this training. This will be an opportunity to gain effective climate communication skills from the experts, learn more about the campaign, and collaborate with other volunteers in your area and across the state.
We will be sharing our inspirations, motivations and the success stories from the past year, and look ahead to explore next steps.
We’ll have more details in the coming weeks – but save the date and RSVP today.
Hope to see you there!
